About the event
The December 2025 ISC2 Oregon Chapter meeting focused on the Chapters Annual
Board Elections and Strategic Planning efforts. We had approximately 43 online
participants of which a significant portion submitted their votes for the Board members
with the results provided below.
Board Election Results:
New Members: Marches Armstrong and Payam Damghani (Pi) elected as at-large board members.
Re-elected Officers: Ed, Shane, Kellen, and Chris retained their positions as they ran unopposed.
Diana stepped down as has Dennis - we really appreciate all their help with the Oregon Chapters development.
Bylaws & Governance Updates:
Approved changes include officer term limits, treasurer responsibilities, and finance committee structure.
Principal office confirmed in Portland, Oregon; registered agent added – needed to file for our 501c3 designation.
Financial Status:

Transition plan: Establish non-profit status - Complete, register business - complete, and open a chapter bank account – in process.
Expenses over $200 require dual approval (President & Treasurer).
